This is the story of the Bridge, an original interactive theatre form that brings audiences
and actors into a dialogical relationship marked by the principle of ‘‘shared authority’’
(Frisch xx) and relational aesthetic inquiry (Springgay, Irwin, and Kind). This form
emerged from the reflective practice of our troupe, the Living Histories Ensemble

Guide méthodologique - Digital Storytelling - Guidelines

Wikipédia (consulté le 27 juillet 2009) définit ainsi cette nouvelle expression, pour laquelle il ne semble y avoir aucun équivalent français: "Digital storytelling" is an emerging term, one that arises from a grassroots movement that uses new digital tools to help ordinary people tell their own 'true stories' in a compelling and emotionally engaging form.” Bref, il s’agit de diffuser des récits de vie à l’aide de médias numériques.

Full Exposure 2009 Photography Book by Gracia Jalea

Full Exposure 2009 is a participatory photography project for high school students from differing socio-economic backgrounds. It was developped by Gracia Jalea, a graduate student at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec as part of her Master's thesis project.

This project will seek to examine the ways in which the class cultural values of society's ruling elite are consistently privileged in the secondary school system which often encourages students from less-privileged socio-econimic backgrounds to supress their class identities and experiences.

"Stories Matter is a new, open-source database building tool created by
oral historians for oral historians. In its current state, Stories Matter
is both Mac and PC-compatible. It allows for the archiving of digital
video and audio materials, enabling users to annotate, analyze, evaluate
and export materials, as well as tag, index, search, and browse within
interviews, sessions, and clips or across entire collections. The software
can be downloaded for free at www.stories-matter.com."

Dr. Chad Gaffield gave the keynote address for Canada 3.0, entitled "Canada as a Digital Nation in the 21st century: The Innovative Contributions of the Social Sciences and Humanities." Reflections on the Côte-des-Neiges Refugee Youth Workshops

This occasional paper, written by Gracia Jalea, is a case study describing and reflecting on the experiences shared in the Mapping Memories: Youth Media Workshop that took place from September to November 2008 at the Maison des jeunes Côte-des-Neiges. The study includes a descriptive account of the project and critically evaluates the successes and challenges faced by both the facilitators and the group, during this eight-week period.
